Our Story

Tech 4 Conservation launched in 2020 with a focussed mission: empowering wildlife conservationists through groundbreaking AI technology. What began as a mission to protect African carnivores has evolved into ArgusWild AI, our platform that now spans 5 continents: from the Americas and Europe, to Africa and Asia.

Today, our AI-powered software accelerates conservation efforts for 22 threatened and endangered species, connecting more than 590 conservationists across 41 countries. Our technology enables scientists to rapidly analyze their field research data while seamlessly incorporating valuable tourist photographs, gathered through our citizen science platform.

By transforming both professional research and citizen science data into comprehensive scientific datasets, we empower conservationists to make swift, evidence-based decisions that protect Earth's most vulnerable species while engaging wildlife enthusiasts as active contributors to conservation.

National-Scale Monitoring: Empowering Big Cat Conservation

ArgusWild AI was adapted to meet the precise needs of the French national conservation agency protecting the Eurasian lynx, one of Europe's most endangered big cats. By closely collaborating with local experts of the OFB (Office Français de la Biodiversité), we enhanced our platform's capabilities to align with existing conservation protocols while introducing powerful new data management tools. The result is a streamlined, country-wide system that standardizes data collection and curation across multiple regions and teams.

This customized solution is transforming how the agency manages their wildlife monitoring data, enabling more efficient and comprehensive conservation efforts for this vulnerable species. This successful deployment demonstrates ArgusWild's flexibility in adapting to specific national requirements while maintaining the highest standards of data security and accessibility.
